Fusion restaurant – the flavours of Asia in the heart of the capital

Asian fusion at MirU is an explosion of expertly combined, traditional Asian flavours in a new edition. The way we prepare our food relies on a skilfully chosen combination of flavours, typical of various culinary traditions, to create that perfect, extraordinary and delicious result.

The methods we use to prepare our Asian foods are there to ensure that the Asian flavours remain prevalent. They are all finely combined with products unusual for Eastern cuisine. Even if you have already visited Thai, Chinese and Japanese restaurants, only here can you discover an exceptional side to Asian cuisine.

Asian food at its best, combined with wines straight from Japan

You may begin your Asian journey with tuna tataki. It comprises seared tuna slices served with white radish tsuma and sunomono sauce, accompanied by edamame beans. The chopped, extremely delicate beef tenderloin along with scallions and pickled cucumbers is also worth trying. This is all complimented by coriander mayo with confit egg yolk and chili! You could also choose marinated cod in miso paste and yuzu, with the unique and distinctive bok choy cabbage. Here you may be further impressed by the flavour of caramelised Jerusalem artichoke, contrasting well with the marinated lemon and chili sauce. It is almost certain that you will enjoy the seasoned roast beef steak served with an edamame bean wasabi puree. It would be a mistake to miss the sweet and sour Thai ume plum sauce, as it blends so well with meat. The whole is completed by wild broccoli. While at MirU, you should not miss our choice of drinks. Here you can enjoy a Japanese whisky, which is milder than its Scottish prototype. Our restaurant is possibly the only place where you can try wines from the Land of the Rising Sun, characterised by their perfectly balanced flavours. Of course, you can also enjoy our traditional sake. It is a rather strong liquor, created from fermented polished rice, and made in Japan for over 2,000 years.
